Winter holidays

Yes I know that this post is a little bit delayed but still counts doesn't it?

Now my time is soooo fulfilled that I don't have time for anything. I'm so glad that sundays are free for me and I can literally do nothing.

So I wanted to post my note now, well maybe I don't find it overwhelmingly interesting, I'm not in mood :)

This is the time when I don’t have time for nothing, just running between work, university and trying to keep up with my home duties, meeting my friends in the meantime. I try to focus on the most important things such as family, education but it’s really hard!
Ok let’s stop pretending. I love watching films and series and that’s why I can’t manage time to do something constructive.  Then I fall into some kind of paradox.  When I have too much free time I want to have it more, but then, when it happens that there’s no need  to read, write and prepare materials for work I don’t really know what to do with myself. So I’m being unbearable or I complain on everything…
What’s wrong with us? Why do we always want the opposite? If I have too much free time I want to work then when I’m in a constant rush I dream about being at home.
Here’s the situation. I’ve been querulous all the time because of the lack of spare time and because  every day I had to do something related with my university. Now, when I have 2 weeks  of holidays and I can finally stay at home, do nothing, meet with my friends I cant! Why? Because I’m too lazy to do so.  Or I’m too tired because of doing nothing.

Ok. that’s all for today. Hope You had wonderful time! During your winter holidays. Or maybe you’re working  as I have to J

Green heaven

Hi!
Today I want to to share with you with my favourite places in Northern Ireland. I will divide this post in 3 or 4 parts because they are ( in my opinion) utterly interesting. I'd like you to travel with me through this amazing country and part of the world.

Ok let's stop this blabbering and get to the point.
Norther Ireland, with its capital Belfast is situated by the ocean. As you probably have seen on photos and you may know from tv advertisements, its shockingly and vividly green and all the views are breathtaking and unforgettable once you already get there. I could even say (besides some exemptions) that it's pure and untouched.

First things first I may say that there are things that astonished me from the begging. I lived in the norther part of Northern ireland, in Colerain which, with two other cities, are named Threecity just like our polish equivalent. One of them ( of the things that suprised me the most of course) was that if you like to, you can get to the beach with your own car. Literally, you can actually  kind of park your car on the beach. Irish people do that very often and what's more, they even bring barbecues and spend there their spare time with friends and family throwing the party! Unfortunately, the ocean is horribly cold even in summer so if you don't have a wetsuit you will probably freeze, well unless you're a winter swimmer (in polish mors).

But landscapes including the ocean are brilliant. Clear, blue water, white sand and green fileds with adorable sheeps everywhere.
Are you feeling excited yet?
you should be. And it's just the beginning.

Holding on or letting go?

Do you have habit of keeping useless things?
Have you ever tried to say good bye to these old, full of dust things hidden on the bottom of your wardrobe?

If your answer is yes let me give you some advice.
Old shoes? Dirty, too small, old-fashioned dress?
Just stuff that you don’t use anymore but still can’t throw it out. Maybe in your basement we could find 3 or 4 desks, because you just can’t imagine your life without them? Stop!  You can’t do it anymore.

That day that you are waiting for to use them again will NEVER come!
Never.

I know it’s hard but it’s scientifically proven that if you do it, it is very probable that you will have a problem with holding grudges too.   And remember, holding grudges is like letting someone live  rent-free in your head.

That point  also works perfectly for your emotions. You will never be able to move on, without sadness and fears and this is against your prosperities.

Now listen, you have to make a space in your house, and accordingly in your mind, to help new opportunities come and fill the empty space.
Collecting useless things implies the possibility of lack and it’s halting your life against the development.

So now, stand up, clean up your closets, wardrobes, your garage throw away all the stuff that has lost its validity and value. Forgive and get away of all the things that are stopping you from being happy.
Set yourself free of all emotions and feelings that are related to people who have already disappeared of your life.

Let the new things to come in!

Now remember:

The day you stop worrying will be the first day of your new life; anxiety takes  you in circles, trust in yourself and become free

why you should start jogging?

Regular running provides many healthful benefits this is the fact that everybody knows.
but...

This kind of aerobic exercise contributes to the improvement of your overall well-being by strengthening your immune system, as well as, increasing your lungs capacity. Moreover, it raises levels of good cholesterol in your body what obviously helps to reduce the risk of having a heart attack.
Now something what is commonly known, but maybe it will help you get up of your sofa!
Regular running is a great way to lose weight. As any other physical activity, it boosts your metabolism and when it’s combined with a balanced diet it helps your body burn more calories and it brings significant results.
Another advantage of running is more psychological, considering the fact that it helps eliminate depression and even though it requires time, it reduces stress.
Your body is producing more happiness hormones due to the fact that after 20 minutes of running, your level of dopamine is growing.
If you still don't get it just have a look at this buddy:

How to not overpack your suitcase

Hi!
Today I'm going to tell you how to pack light for travel!

For example for  5 days trip in a small carry on.

I used to always be a person who would pack a hudge bag like a large check in bag for any travel whether it was a short trip, or for a week or for a few days.
But know i have learnt how to pack myself wisely.
Firstly I was thinking no way, i will never be able to pack my whole stuff in that small luggage. But then i thought ok i like challenges, let's try it!
And that's what I'm going to show you today.
So if you travel a lot you will never have a problem with paying extra for your overpacked bag.
It is always easier to travel with only carry on that taking a hudge, uncomfortable suitcase.

Firstly let's face the truth, us girls need a lot of equipement, lot's more that boys do.
We always pack a blowdryer, a moisturiser, a shower gel, make up, accesories ten pairs of shoes, 2 pyjamas and so on...
What do they take with them? Boxers, socks, a pair of jeans, 2 t-shirts, one warm and cosy hoodie ( of course for us in case that we'll  be freezing)

Znalezione obrazy dla zapytania packing your suitcase

These are my easy steps on how to do it:

  1.  First thing what I always do now before I travel is to check the weather of where I'm travelling and pack according to the weather.
  2. Think about the outfit that I'm going to wear on the day of the travel I always try to wear the heaviest things on to myself so I don't have to pack it in the carry on then. So everything like the leather jacket, my wedgies  everything that is heavy will go on me. It won't take any space in my suitcase.
  3. Plan all of your outfits- preselect all of your outfits you can also take a picture of every look so you will later not forget about your plans. You will not have to worry about what you are going to wear during your travel every single day, it makes your life so much easier!
  4. Choose lightweight items- Try to take things which are made only of lightweight fabrics, dresses, cardigans etc. Don't take those which take a lot of space
  5. Fold and roll your items- Fold your shirts and later on roll it thightly, in this shape it will fit everywhere
  6. put your underwear rolled into the garment bag, it won't take much place in your suitcase.
  7. Put all of your accessories into one garment bag
  8. And the last and the most important tip is to take ONLY THE ESSENTIALS!
Now you are ready to pack your own suitcase, I hope you will find my tips useful.

Hugs and happy new year!

the polish surprise

A post will be devoted to Peru. Well, you won't learn many things about the country but still counts.

Close your eyes and try to imagine Latin America. Can you name all of the countries? What do you know about them? About their culture or geography? Supposedly you will know that they speak a bizzare type of spanish.
Now more specifficaly...
What exactly do you know about Peru?

That it’s situated near to the ocean in South America? Yes, you’re totally right.

Maybe that its capital city is Lima? Yes, it is.

Have you ever heard about Machu Picchu? For sure.

But…

Did you know that the current Peruvian president has polish roots?
Unfortunately for our country, few people are aware of that.

Pedro Pablo Kuczynski is our main character today. Yes, in fact, his father was a famous polish doctor, who in addition was born in Poznań, escaped in 1933 from Nazis. Moreover, he was one of the earliest public health leaders in Peru.

But let me tell you more about the current president. His fight for  Peruvian ‘throne’ was utterly difficult. He took part in the presidential elections 3 times. First time, he was 3rd. Then, his opponent Keiko Fujimori, a daughter of expresident, had many votes and PPK lost again. Even though, in last elections he finally managed to succeed. Previously, he served as a Minister of Economy and Finance and later on, he became a Prime Minister.

What can we say about his promises for Peru?

He said that he would increase the minimum wage,  implement tax breaks for small businesses and reduce the national sales tax from 18% to 15%.
Furthermore, he strives for the equality in Peru, as in his DNA is written help for needy people.

I think that it’s a great thing to have such a person as a Peru president. We can be proud of him and his relation with our country even if he was born in Peru and surely he’s more connected to its nation.
I hope you could learn something about him and Peru. If you need more information don’t hesitate to ask ‘uncle google’.

Merry Christmas everyone!

time amusers

Time-amusers

Best Duo: A good book and a warm blanket.

Relax with a good book? Of course! I love reading books in the autumn
! In general,  I think that a short day strongly helps to spend long evenings in the company of books. And of course with the company pf this warm,  fluffy blanket! The perfect duo that always helps me relax and survive winter time.

2. Hot tea with honey and ginger.
For me, good tea is much better than coffee.  There are so many kinds of tea on the market. You can even buy one with a chocolate flavour.  Moreover, If you are a happy owner of beautiful, designed kettle it will be utterly wonderful.

3. Scented candles.
Aromatic scents, adapted to the mood,  are indispensable in my house while the autumn and winter season is on. I have a few favorite smells that always improve my mood! Usually I reach for sweet scents interspersed with spicy note. I love them!

4. rocking chair.
The fulfillment of our childhood dreams.  Another small thing that makes me so happy. When I sit there with a cup of tea, a blanket and a great book  all the rest of the world doesn’t matter.
There are lots of things that can change your attitude and your mood. What you need to do is make your life easier with all these DIY tricks as home-made peelings,  face masks etc.

Try to use black bananas that you probably hate ( I really do!) to make an absolutely fantastic brownie. Put 2 eggs, 2  previously smashed bananas, some flour, a cup of milk and a punch of cacao and bake it. It is extremely wet and heavenly good.

There are the times that I go crazy. Every day I get up, look at my clothes and there’s only one thing on my mind: What will I put on today?  If you don’t have money to spend on new sweater or blouse try to look for inspiration in Second Hand.
You can find lots of them here in Poznan and I have to admit that they are excellent.  If you are lucky you will buy a brand new jumper for a few złoty. Some of them are really cute.
Anyways, If you are bored with your wardrobe you should try it.  If you are crazy about the Christmas clothes like jumpers with Santa or reindeers you will be pleasantly surprised with the amount of them in that shop.
